Getting started

1. Turn it on	Open Policeman → System → “Guard this Mac”. macOS asks once to allow the network extension.
2. Pick a mode	Watch logs findings and changes nothing. Protect applies your rules.
3. Set the rules	Rules → Secrets, Personal data, Dangerous commands, Injected instructions: Off, Watch, Remove or Stop.
4. Node tools	Command-line tools built on Node.js need the line shown in System added to ~/.zshrc so they trust the guard's certificate.

Does it slow my Mac? Only requests to the AI APIs are opened. Everything else passes untouched.

What if Policeman stops? Your connections go direct. It never blocks you by being absent.

How do I remove it? Turn off “Guard this Mac”, then move the app to the Trash.
